On April 18, 2022, the delegates of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Election Committee Industrial (First) Members had a meeting with the 6th Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mr. John Lee.
It’s reported that the meeting is to know the concept of governance and the delegates submitted their advice about reindustrialization and scientific and technological innovation in Hong Kong. At the meeting, the delegates expressed their opinions and advice about customs clearance and anti-epidemic, cooperation between University and Industry, the development and orientation of the local advanced enterprises; the strategies for the northern metropolitan area, hedge of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes, government Restructuring; financing and industry and commerce policies.
Hong Kong's Northern Metropolitan Area, Great Bay Area and the integration of reindustrialization and innovation development is a complex and diversified proposition. It requires the joint efforts of all sectors and the government. Maximize Hong Kong's unique advantages, seize the opportunities, create favorable conditions for the industry, play a key role as an international innovation center, and integrate itself into the overall development of the country.
