Mr. Sydney Chan, Director of HKSAR Guangdong Economic and Trade Office and his delegation visited JMA

Mr. Sydney Chan, Director of HKSAR Guangdong Economic and Trade Office, Ms. Anne Bai, Deputy Director and Ms. Connie Wong, Manager of Economic and Trade Relations, visited JMA on August 6, 2020.  Our Director of Administration Management, Ms. Eva Lo, led the team to welcome Mr. Chan and the delegation.

Ms. Eva Lo first expressed her gratitude to Mr. Chan and the delegation for making the visit under the COVID-19 situation. Then she introduced JMA’s business development, production technology  and corporate culture.




The delegation team then visited our automation workshop and automation buffing workshop.

During and the discussions, both sides discussed JMA’s response strategies under the impact of the pandemic, the China-US trade war, and the development opportunities of Great Bay Area and our Ms. Eva Lo expressed concerns in limited market space due to the China-US trade war, the company situation was hit hard by the pandemic which led to a decrease of sales order more than 35% compare with previous years.



In order to pull through the difficult period,  JMA actively responded to the pandemic prevention and adjusted production arrangement, tried hard to stabilize orders to achieve smooth transition, and we saw an gradually improved from July.

In view of the complicated international economic situation, our company is speeding up the development of global business, especially the European, Asian and domestic markets, and is also more cross-border high-tech non automotive surface treatment business.

JMA expressed the wishes the HKSAR can assist to strive for more policy support from PRC government and can pay more attention to the surface treatment industry, give certain support and help, and create a good business environment in Great Bay Area, so as to realize the sustainable development of enterprises.
